Who can it be?

Who can it be?

Who can it be, who can it be,
Well dont ask me!
If I may,
I've got a little to say
That is;

When its a dark midnight sky,
You will here a croaky faint cry,
It will come from the old lighthouse,
or it could just be a hungry mouse.

Well then all I can say,
If I may;

Who can it be, who can it be
I dont know,
lets wait and see!

The Smugglers Robe

The smugglers are sly

They live in a cave

So they can’t be seen

Because they always plan to do there mansion scene

Smugglers scare, hide and steal

Just like the golden eel

Master plans are in their head just like evil red

Always down goblet lane

St Georges Day

On April 23rd the village is going to have celebrations for St Georges Day. It’s going to take place on the Village Green. Everyone is invited.
The whole village is going to have a traditional lunch of batted Fish and Chips, which will be provided by a local Fish and Chip shop.

Also there will be fairy cakes with a red or white dragon on top, chocolate chip cookies shaped as a dragon with white or brown chocolate, and raspberry juice, strawberry jelly and ice vanilla ice-cream and a cake which has St George fighting the dragon.
The children are going to perform a play about St George and the dragon.

There is also going to be a treasure hunt to find the hidden prize to do with St George. There will be creative things to make like a dragon hat, and a England or dragon flag.
Plus there will be traditional English dancing which will be made pole dancing. To do the dancing some villagers have made a pole with different colours of ribbon on top. Hopefully everyone can come to enjoy St Georges day because it’s going to be superb.

A boy and his treasure

Thirteen year old Marlon McRae was playing in the woods along with his eight year old sister Jemma. It didn’t take long for Marlon to notice a trap doors’ handle.

He said;

“I was playing in the woods with my little sister, Jemma. I then noticed a silver handle beneath a pile of grass. I don’t know if it was supposed to be camouflage. Anyway, I opened it and looked inside, but all I saw was a puddle of water. But still I went in.
When I got inside, there were piles of treasure. It nearly made me blind.
I told my sister to go to the police station to report the treasure. I stayed inside so I could investigate more. I saw a light so I walked on forward. Well, I didn’t want to go on more. When I got back I saw something shining in the light. It was beneath a rock. I heaved and heaved until it got off. I saw something beautiful! They were pearls. Lots of different colours too. I didn’t keep them, but I did want to.
Jemma arrived with the police. The police got inside the cave and collected up the treasure. They said they were going to take it to an archaeologist.”

From all of that we do know whoever’s treasure this is, they are going to be very rich.

The Vicar is back

The people living in the village think that the ghost of the murdered vicar is back, to get revenge on the smugglers who tied him up and left  him to die.
The villagers have seen a light flickering on and off at the church, and the elderly couple who live at number five are very scared. They are too frightened to even go to sleep.
Yesterday every one heard someone scream and rushed to  the  church. There seemed  to be a smuggler on the floor, bleeding to death. Every one stared at him, before he faded away to nothing.
